WAA Membership

Even if you intend to shoot casually, you probably want to join the Wellington Archery Association. The annual fee is minimal, and it grants you access to many other competitions of different levels, which will also give you great access to the social aspect of the sport in New Zealand.

Wellington Archery Association covers clubs such as Wanganui, Manawatu (Palmerston North), Richmondvale (Napier), Wairarapa (Masterton), Mana (Paraparaumu), Trentham (Upper Hutt), and Randwick (Wellington). WAA has a number of trophies (such as Sir Walter Nash, WAA Field Champs, Silver Knight/ Ruscoe Shield, Loudon Trophy…) that are competed for at tournaments throughout the year and only WAA members are eligible to win these trophies.

Fees

WAA Dues for 2009-2010 are $10.00

Additional competitions may charge a small additional entry fee.
